You were asking about Canadian music — non-mainstream stuff, Propagandhi are a pretty good punk group out of Winnipeg, but a lot of the stuff on major labels is quite good too. I’d recommend Wide Mouth Mason, a funk-rock trio from the Prairies, and Matthew Good, a personal favourite of mine and a pretty awesome fellow too, heavily involved with Amnesty International. Also be sure to check out Sloan for some good old fashioned rock-n-roll.

First off, I’m a big supporter of everything you do. Now about this bit of software. Is this project related to pymusique? I’ve done some basic google searchs for iTunes Linux and have come up with this and pymusique (I know you worked on both).
Basically, what I’m looking for is a fully functional iTunes Store (mostly for the PODCASTs). Does SharpMusique have support for Podcasts?

Really nice piece of software! I’ve used it for some time, and besides the missing possibility to buy entire albums, it does everything i need it to.

Running WinXP SP1

Nancy’s post made me think of a problem I am facing too. I like iTunes, especially w/o DRMS, but here’s my problem. There’s music on iTunes-UK or Germany or France that isn’t on iTunes-US and that’ I’d like to download, but here’s the catch, since my credit card is from the US, I can’t buy/download anything, you need a credit card fro the UK to buy anything on iTunes-UK, same goes for all other countries. Is there anything you can do about that?

Great software and great work you have been doing! I can see in the changelog, that it has album support – but I cannot seem to buy a complete album (which is normally cheaper than buying the songs individually). Its this change planned??
